The Business Management program is designed with an emphasis on preparing graduates for leadership roles
within a business or organization. Student will graduate confident that they have gained the necessary
the basics required to run and/or manage a business. Further, students will be able to apply the skills
acquired at your school for promotion in a current position or into a new job/industry.
The program structure emphasizes the ability to lead, supervise people, communicate effectively and a solid
knowledge of business organization. Finally, the student gains progressive skills relevant to today's market:
effective project management, business planning, small business and entrepreneurship.
A student must obtain an overall average of at least 70% in order to
graduate and receive a diploma. A student must achieve a grade of 70% in all technical
modules identified by this symbol @ on the following pages, but may achieve a grade of
less than 70% and no module mark is below 50%. A student may be allowed to retake a module
in which the mark received was 70% (50% for modules not bearing the symbol), or to raise
the overall average to 70%. A student must complete the hours of the Student Success Strategies
and Career & Employment Strategies modules for the program as indicated on this outline.
- Grade 12 High School Diploma
- Mature Student Status
- 19 Years Old
- Out of High School for 1 year
- Passing grade on entrance examination.
Graduates will have the opportunity to enter the workplace with the skills to
perform the tasks carried out by employees within an Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Billing,
Payroll and Collections. Employers are looking for competent accounting & payroll professionals
who are trained to effectively collect, record, organize and prepare financial records.
